Abusive parents to be listed on child cruelty register like sex offenders

The UK government is proposing a Child Cruelty Register to monitor parents and caregivers who physically harm children, akin to the sex offender registry. This initiative, championed by Paula Hudgell after her adoptive son Tony suffered severe abuse leading to the amputation of his legs, aims to enhance child protection.
