About Last Night: Habs lose third straight, but Cole Caufield stays hot

Cole Caufield scored his fifth and sixth goals of the season in the Canadiens’ 4-3 shootout loss to the New York Islanders, extending their losing streak to three games. Caufield’s six goals in the first six games mark the first time a Hab has achieved this since Brian Savage. Juraj Slafkovsky assisted on both of Caufield’s goals.
