A$AP Rocky’s former friend, A$AP Relli, testified in court that he was not informed that the gun Rocky allegedly fired at him in 2021 was fake until the trial began. The prosecution challenged the defense’s claim that Rocky carried a starter pistol that only shot blanks for security reasons. Despite text messages indicating Rocky tried to harm him, Relli stated that he was not informed the gun was fake. The trial, which could result in a 24-year prison sentence for Rocky, also involved Rihanna, his longtime partner, who was not present in court. Rocky lost a Grammy Award the day before the trial.
