In Aalst, colorful projections inspired by “Maarten en de Magie van de Mantel” will light up four locations from October 29 to November 10, telling a complete story daily from 6 PM to 10 PM. The journey starts at ‘t Gasthuys and ends at Sint-Martinuskerk, with a light parade on November 10 at 6 PM. Saint Martin will be celebrated in Aalst with workshops for children to make lanterns and join the parade featuring Roman soldier Maarten on horseback and fire performers, along with large light sculptures inspired by the St. Martin’s parade in Utrecht.
