On June 27th, the foreign ministers of Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo signed a peace agreement in the Oval Office, with President Donald Trump celebrating the event as a “glorious triumph.” He emphasized the end of violence and the beginning of a new era of hope, opportunity, harmony, prosperity, and peace in the region.
