Swiss politician Marc Jaisli was fined 6,500 francs for purchasing pink water pistols online that were deemed to violate the country’s weapons law by authorities in Zurich. Jaisli, a member of the local council in Buchs, ordered the toys as gifts for his godchildren through an online retailer, Temu. Despite the pistols being imitations, prosecutors argued that their appearance could be mistaken for real firearms, leading to the fine being imposed.
