On 7 March, UN mission chief Danielle Bell reported that 21 civilians were killed in Ukraine, marking one of the deadliest days so far this year due to Russian’s full-scale invasion in February 2022. The majority of casualties occurred in Donetsk region, with 11 civilians killed and 47 injured in Dobropillia town during a Russian attack. The UN monitoring mission is working to verify the casualty numbers, which will be released in their monthly update on 11 March.
