Putin Has Slowed Down The Speed Of Russian Offensives In Ukraine, UK Says

Russian President Vladimir Putin has slowed down his offensives in Ukraine, resulting in a decrease in casualties, according to the UK Ministry of Defence. The casualty rate has dropped to 1,255 daily in February 2025, the lowest since August 2024, with a total of 35,140 casualties for the month. Despite the slower pace, the MoD predicts that Russia’s casualty rate will remain high above 1,000 a day in March 2025.
