Defence Minister Rajnath Singh emphasized the urgent need for collaboration among institutions to address rapidly evolving security challenges, which now include cyberattacks, misinformation campaigns, and space-based espionage. He underscored the importance of breaking silos and leveraging technological advancements to ensure holistic national security. Singh commended the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) for enhancing India’s defence capabilities and highlighted the deployment of advanced technologies like small arms, surveillance equipment, and drone systems in internal security agencies. He also mentioned DRDO’s contribution to over 100 products being inducted into agencies of the Ministry of Home Affairs, emphasizing the importance of modernization and staying ahead of emerging threats.
