Country music superstar Dolly Parton announced on Instagram that her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, has passed away at the age of 82 in Nashville. The private ceremony for his burial will be attended by immediate family only, respecting their wishes for privacy during this difficult time. Despite Carl’s preference to stay out of the spotlight, Dolly always emphasized the strength of their relationship, with the couple renewing their vows for their 50th anniversary in 2016.
