The Hagelandse 101 walking event in Belgium is now the Hagelandse 106 and 60, with longer routes of 106 km and 60 km respectively, and an added try-out walk of 38.5 km on June 8, 2025, in Aarschot to help participants prepare for the challenging hills. Organizers are increasing the number of spots available to 5,000, aiming to accommodate more walkers and ensure everyone is ready for the hilly terrain. Jo Langela, one of the organizers, emphasized the importance of the try-out walk in preparing participants for the main event and experiencing the beauty of Aarschot.
