The number of British personnel working on the international training program for Ukrainian soldiers, Operation Interflex, has decreased by 1,020 in the last 2.5 years, marking a 73% reduction. Despite the decline, the Ministry of Defence mentioned an increase in support from other countries involved in the program, allowing for efficiencies to be made as the operation developed. The UK government disclosed that as of January 2025, there were only 369 UK personnel working on the programme, which has trained over 51,000 Ukrainian soldiers to resist Vladimir Putin’s invasion.
