Ex-ESPN reporter Wojnarowski wins Gowdy Award

Tim Bontemps, a senior NBA writer for ESPN.com, covers the league’s on and off-court impacts, trade deadline intel, expansion, and MVP Straw Polls, and co-hosts The Hoop Collective podcast. Adrian Wojnarowski, known for his “Woj Bombs,” was honored with the Curt Gowdy Media Award for his groundbreaking journalism career, including his recent retirement to become the GM at St. Bonaventure University. Other award recipients included Michelle Smith, Clark Kellogg, George Blaha, and Jeff Twiss, who will be honored alongside this year’s Naismith Hall of Fame class on Sept. 5-6.
