Dentsu Creative global executive creative directors Darren Urquhart and Tom Smith have left to freelance, having led the American Express UK account since December 2022. They cited a difference of opinion about employment as the reason for their departure, thanking Sue Higgs, Caroline Pay, and Julie Scelzo. Under new leadership and restructuring by Jessica Tamsedge, Dentsu Creative is moving forward after the duo’s departure, wishing them well in their freelance venture as Urquhart and Smith.
