Indian fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah has won the Sir Garfield Sobers Award for Men’s Cricketer of the Year at the ICC Awards for his exceptional performance in 2024, dominating in both Test and T20 formats. Bumrah’s record-breaking year included 71 Test wickets in just 13 matches, as well as leading India to victory in the Men’s T20 World Cup. New Zealand all-rounder Amelia Kerr claimed the Women’s Cricketer of the Year award, becoming the first Kiwi to win the prestigious accolade after her standout performance in the Women’s T20 World Cup.
