Etihad Rail will oversee the development and operation of a high-speed train project linking Abu Dhabi and Dubai, with speeds of up to 350 kmph, passing through strategic destinations and contributing AED145bn to the UAE’s GDP. The initiative, supported by Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, aims to enhance infrastructure, strengthen connectivity, and drive economic growth through sustainable transport solutions.
