Myanmar’s military government and the Myanmar National Democratic Alliance Army (MNDAA) have signed a ceasefire agreement brokered by China, marking the second pact in over a year. The ethnic rebel group, consisting of the Kokang minority, has been fighting for autonomy and is allied with the People’s Defense Force.
