TikTok says it will go dark on Sunday unless Biden intervenes

TikTok has warned that its services will go dark on Sunday if the Biden administration does not guarantee protection for Apple, Google, and other service providers from potential punishment for supporting the app. This comes after the Supreme Court upheld a law requiring service providers to stop supporting TikTok in the U.S. by Sunday unless ByteDance divests the app. Despite calls for clarity from the Biden administration, the issue may fall to the Trump administration, with Biden’s term ending on Monday.
