Cameron Bancroft and Daniel Sams sent to hospital after brutal clash during BBL thriller

Sydney Thunder duo Daniel Sams and Cameron Bancroft were taken to hospital after a head clash during their team’s final-ball win over the Perth Scorchers. Despite a strong performance by Scorchers’ Finn Allen and Cooper Connolly, Thunder’s David Warner and Sherfane Rutherford led the successful chase. Sams and Bancroft were concussed and hospitalized, with Thunder securing victory through a dramatic final-ball boundary by Rutherford.
