BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 14. The Minister of Culture of Azerbaijan, Adil Karimli, highlighted the importance of establishing a unified cultural platform with Turkic states to enhance interaction and cooperation. He made these remarks during an international conference titled “Study and Preservation of the Historical and Cultural Heritage of the Turkic World from the Perspective of UNESCO” held at ADA University, as reported by Trend.
“The creation of a unified cultural platform among Turkic states is a significant milestone. These states have a wealth of cultural heritage, making it crucial to promote and preserve it through a unified platform,” stated the official.
Karimli also underscored the active involvement of Turkic states’ leaders in discussions and dialogues, which contribute to the development and conservation of cultural heritage.
“In addition to the rich Turkic cultural heritage, the natural heritage of Turkic countries holds great importance. It is imperative that we safeguard our cultural heritage, conduct research, and advocate for initiatives in this regard. Furthermore, international conventions should be considered,” added the minister.
