Russian servicemen were seen assembling a drone at an undisclosed location, according to the Russian Defense Ministry Press Service. The Ministry of Defence reported that approximately 2,300 One Way Attack Uncrewed Aerial Systems (OWAUAS) were launched by Russia in November alone, with the tactic being deployed in the ongoing conflict with Ukraine. The drones are used as decoys to confuse radar systems and carry explosives, contributing to Russia’s strategy of maintaining pressure on Ukraine by sending around 1,500 drones a month into Ukrainian airspace.
