Sara Sharif, a cheerful and caring pupil at St Mary’s Primary School in Surrey, was found murdered by her father and stepmother in August last year. Despite experiencing abuse at home, Sara was known for her love of singing and dreams of appearing on The X Factor. Her school honored her with the Sara Singing Award and a memorial bench, remembering her as a beloved “chatterbox” full of life.
