South Africa strongly condemns the Israeli Defence Force for the killing of approximately 100 Palestinians in Gaza, including women and children in heinous massacres. Israel’s denial of access to rescue teams and journalists at the site of the killings is deeply concerning. South Africa urges Israel to end its aggressive actions and calls on the UN Security Council to ensure immediate humanitarian aid access in Gaza as per UNSC Resolution 2735.
