Insurgents in Syria launched a successful offensive in Aleppo, breaking through government defense lines with ease and entering the city’s western neighborhood. The insurgents also gained control of numerous villages and towns, including a strategic town south of Aleppo, as part of their shock offensive in Aleppo and Idlib countryside.
