A recent survey by Talker Research for Newsweek asked 1,000 U.S. adults about their most common dreams, uncovering nine recurring themes. These themes include work-related stress, dreams of deceased loved ones, aspirations of wealth and success, family and relationship dynamics, travel fantasies, flying and running dreams, nightmares and stress dreams, death-related dreams, and routine activities. Dr. Shelby Harris emphasizes that while dreams can offer insight into emotions and experiences, seeking advice if dreams affect sleep is important.
