Derry City: Larne manager Tiernan Lynch in frame to become Candystripes boss

Lynch took over as Larne manager in 2017, leading them from the second-tier Championship to consecutive top-flight titles and securing their qualification for the Uefa Conference League phase, a first for a Northern Irish team. Despite rejecting a job offer from St Johnstone, Larne currently sits ninth in the Irish Premiership table, 14 points behind the leaders after a recent defeat to Linfield. Lynch is now set to oversee a rebuild at Derry following their disappointing fourth-place finish last season, which saw them miss out on European football and lose key players to other clubs.
