During his Hockey Hall of Fame induction speech, Shea Weber thanked former Nashville Predators GM David Poile and head coach Barry Trotz for giving him a chance to play in the NHL and teaching him valuable life, hockey, and leadership lessons. He also expressed gratitude to former Canadiens GM Marc Bergevin and team owner/president Geoff Molson for the opportunity to play in Montreal, a city he considers the most passionate hockey city he has ever seen. Weber referred to Nashville as his “second home” and Montreal as a place where he experienced immense support and appreciation.
