A Montreal police officer, Const. Guillaume Joly-Tessier, has been suspended for 25 days without pay for using a justice of the peace’s stamp without her knowledge to create a fake warrant in an investigation targeting hit man Frédérick Silva, a suspect in four murders and the attempted murder of a Montreal Mafia leader. This misconduct resulted in disciplinary action against Joly-Tessier for his role in the search for one of Quebec’s most wanted criminals.
