Police have identified the mystery woman found dead in Auckland’s Gulf Harbour as Shulai Wang, 70, from China, whose remains were discovered in a bag by a local fisherman. Two individuals, Kaixiao Liu and Lanyue Xiao, have been charged in connection with the homicide investigation. Wang had no family in New Zealand and had not been reported missing; detectives have been working tirelessly to piece together the events leading to her death and are continuing their investigation.
