Payments major PhonePe has partnered with Bajaj Allianz General Insurance to offer affordable insurance coverage against firecracker-related accidents during Diwali for a limited period, with a sum insured of Rs 25,000 for a premium of Rs 9. The coverage includes hospitalisation, day care treatment, and accidental death for the policyholder and can be purchased on the PhonePe app for up to four family members. The plan is available from October 25 to November 3, 2024, and aims to provide timely protection during the festive season.
