Sadeq Ali Quraishi, a former anesthesiologist at Tufts Medical Center, was convicted of attempted sex trafficking of a child for responding to an online ad offering sex with a 14-year-old girl. Quraishi agreed to pay $250 for a sex act, withdrew cash, and drove to a hotel where he was arrested. He faces a minimum of 10 years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000.
