Fugitive developer’s daughter in fight over taped calls

Intercepted phone calls between a daughter and her fugitive property developer father may not be admissible in a fraud case against her due to legal professional privilege. Ashlyn Nassif, a lawyer, argues that the calls made during an investigation into her father Jean Nassif should be protected. The calls were intercepted by NSW Police during a 2021 investigation into suspected money laundering.
