Indonesia’s deputy minister for immigration affairs, Silmy Karim, has been arrested following a 10-hour interrogation regarding alleged irregularities in immigration document administration from 2023 to 2024. The anticorruption agency KPK confirmed his arrest, and seven other suspects have also been identified in the case.
