Fans attending the 2026 FIFA World Cup will no longer be allowed to bring reusable plastic water bottles into stadiums due to safety concerns, following a last-minute change to the code of conduct. Previously permitted, these bottles are now banned to minimize risks of injury from thrown objects. While temperatures at some venues are expected to reach 28 degrees Celsius, FIFA plans to implement hydration stations and other cooling measures to ensure fan comfort during the tournament.
