Alvi Choudhury, 26, was wrongfully arrested by Thames Valley Police after their AI facial recognition system mistakenly identified him as a burglar linked to a £3,000 theft in Milton Keynes. He is now suing the police, raising concerns about racial bias in facial recognition technology, which has been shown to disproportionately misidentify individuals from certain demographic groups.
