Bolivian authorities arrest drug kingpin Sebastian Marset in police operation

Sebastian Enrique Marset Cabrera, one of South America’s most wanted drug kingpins, was arrested in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia, following a police raid. Bolivian President Rodrigo Paz hailed the capture as a significant victory in the battle against drug trafficking. Marset, a 34-year-old Uruguayan, was indicted for money laundering and leading the First Uruguayan Cartel, which has been linked to major cocaine shipments. The U.S. had previously offered a $2 million bounty for his capture.
