Gnowangerup experiences another earthquake swarm

A series of small earthquakes has struck Gnowangerup, with tremors of approximately magnitude 3 recorded on Friday and another measuring 2.7 on Saturday. In total, 31 earthquakes have been documented in the area over the past week, and more than 70 since February, with the strongest being a magnitude 3.8. Local residents report minimal damage, as these seismic events are not uncommon for the region, according to local business owner Ron Bett.
