The White House has refuted claims that President Donald Trump approved a plan to arm Kurdish groups in order to incite an uprising in Iran. White House spokesperson Karoline Leavitt labeled these reports as “completely false,” clarifying that Trump’s recent discussions with Middle Eastern leaders, including Kurdish representatives, were focused on U.S. bases in northern Iraq. This denial follows media reports suggesting U.S. support for Kurdish opposition groups in Iran.
