Former Prime Minister Helen Clark has criticized the New Zealand Government’s response to escalating tensions in Iran, calling it a “disgrace.” This comes after Israel and the US conducted significant strikes in Iran, resulting in the death of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. In retaliation, Iran launched missile attacks against its regional adversaries and US military bases. Prime Minister Christopher Luxon and Foreign Affairs Minister Winston Peters condemned Iran’s actions in a joint statement.
