How to View a Rare Alignment of Nearly All Planets in Our Solar System

This weekend, stargazers in the UK can witness a rare planetary parade featuring Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune visible simultaneously after sunset. Experts explain that this phenomenon occurs due to the alignment of the planets along the same plane in the solar system. While four planets can be seen with the naked eye, Neptune and Uranus require binoculars or telescopes. The best viewing conditions are a dark location with a clear view of the western horizon about 30 minutes post-sunset.
