A growing number of countries are advising their citizens to leave Iran amid escalating tensions between the US and Tehran over Iran’s nuclear program. US President Donald Trump accused Iran of rebuilding its nuclear program and having missiles that could reach the US, but expressed a preference for a diplomatic resolution. Meanwhile, Iran’s Foreign Minister stated that a deal with the US to avert conflict is “within reach,” as talks are set to resume in Geneva. Countries such as Australia, Germany, India, Poland, Serbia, South Korea, Sweden, and the US have issued warnings for their citizens to leave Iran due to the volatile security situation and risk of military conflict.
