Teen Charged with Murder Over Fry Dispute
18-year-old Lemarques Darden Jr. was arrested for allegedly shooting his best friend, 19-year-old Jarvis Davis, in the head during an argument over sharing French fries in Fort Worth, Texas, on January 28. Witnesses reported that the friends had just returned from a Wingstop when the dispute escalated. Davis’s mother expressed her grief, calling the incident “senseless” and highlighting the shock of losing her son over such a trivial matter. Darden is currently held in Tarrant County Jail awaiting trial for murder.
