The Islamic regime in Iran has reportedly engaged in extrajudicial killings of injured protesters within hospitals and arrested numerous medical staff treating them, according to Dr. R from the Aida Health Alliance. Medical facilities have been weaponized to identify and detain protestors, with accounts of patients being murdered while still connected to medical equipment. Mahmood Amiry-Moghaddam of Iran Human Rights condemned these actions as crimes against humanity, urging the World Health Organization to investigate. The regime’s actions have not only endangered the lives of protestors but have also obstructed medical care for civilians, leading to further casualties.
