Shuchen Liu Appeals 14-Year Prison Sentence

Shuchen “Ace” Liu, a drug kingpin known for manufacturing ‘Pink Porsche’ ecstasy pills and driving a $630,000 Ferrari, is appealing his 14-year prison sentence for drug, money laundering, and firearms charges, claiming it is “manifestly excessive.” Liu was sentenced on December 4, 2024, while his wife, Xiuxiu Hao, received 10 months of home detention for her involvement in their drug syndicate. In his appeal, Liu’s lawyer argued that the sentence did not adequately reflect Liu’s guilty plea, which only garnered a 12% reduction.
