In southern Spain, at least 21 people died and 25 were seriously injured when two high-speed trains collided near Adamuz. The incident occurred when a train traveling from Malaga to Madrid derailed and hit an oncoming train. Emergency services, including mobile intensive care units, were deployed to stabilize the injured. Train services from the Andalusia region to Madrid have been suspended as investigations continue.
