Denver Broncos linebacker Drew Sanders returned to practice, starting a 21-day window for activation to the 53-man roster; if not activated by Jan. 30, he’ll revert to IR. Coach Sean Payton indicated most injured players would return for the playoffs, mentioning linebacker Dre Greenlaw is progressing, while running back J.K. Dobbins may return if they reach the AFC Championship. The Broncos have four open designations for players returning from IR, with tight end Lucas Krull as a candidate. The team’s next opponent and game date will be announced soon, with players expected back at the facility early next week.
