Auckland’s popular Hidden Valley electronic music festival, held annually in Matakana, faced significant disruptions this year, with attendees experiencing two-hour delays for entry and post-event transport due to inclement weather. Many festival-goers reported extensive wait times, with thousands queued at three entrances. In response to the chaos, the festival organizers have promised a refund to affected customers. This year’s event attracted around 8,000 to 10,000 attendees.
