Days before the release deadline for government materials related to Jeffrey Epstein, White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles stated in Vanity Fair that President Trump “is in the file” but not implicated in wrongdoing. Trump, who had a prior friendship with Epstein, has been mentioned in public Epstein files but denies knowledge of any crimes. Wiles disputed claims about Bill Clinton’s alleged visits to Epstein’s island and suggested that the Epstein saga wouldn’t harm Trump’s political standing. She emphasized that many interested in the files are newer Trump supporters rather than his core base.
