Director Mendes helps launch creative venue
Chichester Festival Theatre has opened a new venue called the Nest, supported by Hollywood director Sam Mendes, who began his career there. The venue, which was funded through a £1.8m campaign, will host acoustic and comedy gigs, as well as new theatre productions, offering a more intimate and informal atmosphere from Thursdays to Saturdays.
