A man named Naveed Akram, 24, has been charged with 59 offences, including 15 counts of murder, after allegedly opening fire on a crowd at Bondi Beach during a Jewish event, Chanukah By The Sea, with his father Sajid, 50, who was killed by police. Naveed was injured and taken into custody, later waking from a coma before being officially charged. The incident resulted in the tragic deaths of 15 individuals. Akram also faces charges related to terrorism and intent to murder.
